A lil bit about this Ibayuh (Iban + Bidayuh) boy. He was kinda shy at first, and didnt talk much. But at the end of the day, yeah, after all the shopping spree at Farley, he finally showed us his true colour!! He suddenly talked a lot, and  asked us to get him a bicycle!! We were like .. Wat The .. Its a big NO of course. Otherwise we have to deliver the bike to his place the next day!

Luckily he didnt push for it…. we bought him 2 pairs of shoes, school uniform, branded casual wear and  a cap. As for the surprise gift, we gave him a super duper cool Gundam-look-alike figure with LEDed sword!! It’s so kewl!

It was a fun day for us!

So they come up with a list of  these cute kids who met all the criteria every year for staff to be their buddies/foster parent for half a day!! We have to prepare a surprise gift beforehand for our little guy and bring him for a shopping spree around the town within 2 hours. Really cant wait for Friday now.

Our little hero ..

Bakuman is all about these two teenagers (Mashiro and his partner Takagi), aimed to be pro “serialized mangakas”. Mangakas simply means the artist/author of a manga. Well what is so good about this manga is the storyline, which is kinda romantic in its own way. The main character Mashiro and his gurl Azuki made a promise to get married once both of them achieved their dreams – yup, to be a successful mangaka and a successful voice actress for Azuki.

I love to see their determination, perseverance and the fact that they never give up on their dreams. It’s still ongoing though… i have finished up reading until the latest release, all in merely two days!! ahhaha im soooo crazy about this manga now!!

So for this year, we have it on last Saturday. Abt 15 people turned up – good enough to have my living room over crowded!!

And yep, some of us stayed back for Singstar!!
